Reveille Returns for Another Season of Music and Laughter

TUCSON (Observer Update) - Reveille Men's Chorus will be starting their 14th season of changing hearts and minds through music with a Welcome Back rehearsal at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28th at The Hall at The Historic Y, 300 E. University (corner of University and 5th).

Tucson's GLBT men's chorus is actively looking for new members and encourages anyone who likes to sing or who has thought about joining to come by and see what it's all about. Reveille is dedicated to musical excellence and performs locally and worldwide (having traveled to Canada, Mexico and Brazil) to promote human rights, diversity and world free of AIDS.

The past year was a tremendously successful one for Reveille with their critically acclaimed spring show "Dim Sum and Then Some: A Foreign Affair" and the release of their 4th CD of the same name. Reveille just returned from Miami Florida where they performed at the GALA conference of Gay and Lesbian Choruses where they were one of the most talked about choruses that performed at the event (you can see Reveille's performances in Miami on Youtube). If you like to sing and have always want to make a difference in your community please join them, they are actively seeking new members. This year's holiday program will be "Holidays in Hollywood" featuring songs from our favorite Christmas movies and the spring show for 2009 will focus on music and comedy in a show entitled, "Make 'em Laugh".
