TUCSON (Observer Update) - Tucson’s Chapter of PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) will be holding their monthly meeting, Wednesday, August 6, 7:00 p.m. at the Ward VI City Council office, 3202 E. 1st St.
PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender persons, their families and friends through: Support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights. PFLAG provides opportunity to dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identify, and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
