Eon Youth Center is on The Move

Eon Youth Center, a drop-in center for LGBTQ and allied youth ages 13-23, will be moving at the end of this month.

Currently the center is located downtown in a building that will be renovated for a charter school with plans to open in August. “Now is a great time for Eon to move closer to one of its parent agencies, Wingspan, and the 4th Avenue area” says Courtney Jones, Youth and Family Programs Manager. Eon was previously located close to 4th Avenue prior to moving into the current space in 2005. Although a new location is not set, prime locations are under serious consideration.

Beginning in August, Eon will provide drop-in hours at Wingspan where youth will be able to access Homeless Youth Project supplies, support groups, staff and peer support, and social activities. For more information, contact Courtney Jones, 620-6245 or cjones@wingspan.org.
