Desert Voices Open House, August 11, August 18

TUCSON (Observer Update) - Mid-July heat, monsoon rains - a typical Tucson summer. But a not-so-typical upcoming season for Desert Voices.

On August 11, Desert Voices begins year number 20, their Platinum Season, and what exciting plans are in the making. The chorus will be holding open houses on Monday, August 11 and 18 at 7:00 p.m., Water of Life MCC, 3269 N. Mountain Ave. Meet current chorus members and learn about the season. Desert Voices is always looking for new singers. Meet with Chris Tackett, the artistic director, have a quick voice check to determine your range, and then get ready to be a part of an exciting musical year.
