Arizona Marriage Amendment Update

From Equality Arizona:

The Senate Ethics Committee will be meeting today at 2 p.m. in Senate Hearing Room 1 to determine whether or not to launch an investigation into allegations that Senator Jack Harper (R-4, Surprise) broke Senate rules to deny openly-Lesbian Senator Paula Aboud (D-28, Tucson) and openly-Gay Senator Ken Cheuvront (D-15, Phoenix) their rights. Sen. Cheuvront filed the ethics complaint about the alleged incident, which took place on the final day of the session, paving the way for a vote on the marriage amendment referendum.
