Around The Old Pueblo - Upcoming Events

Intergenerational stories to celebrate 20 years of National Coming Out Day. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender folks and their Allies (friends and family) will share tales of their remarkable journeys from the closet to being out and proud. Part One will take place Tuesday, October 11, 7:00 p.m. at the Gallagher Theater on the UA Campus and part two will take place, Saturday, October 11, 2:00 p.m. at Wingspan, 425 E. 7th St.

Six amazing storytellers will have 10 minutes to tell their Coming Out story, whether it was 50 years or ago or it just happened yesterday. They will take us along on their journey from where they were to where they are! Come on...be Out, be Loud, be Proud. Visit the Odyssey website, www.Odysseystorytelling.com, to see who's telling. Sponsored by UA Office of LGBTQ Affairs, The Center for Student Involvement and Leadership and Odyssey Storytelling.
