TUCSON (Observer Update) - 91.3 KXCI will honor the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall on Sunday, June 28 from noon to 6pm with special Stonewall Day programming. Both the schedule of on-air hosts as well as the music and content for the day will feature LGBT community members and allies, LGBT artists, their music, and history, highlights, information, and spoken pieces from and about the gay community locally, nationally, and gay pride and Stonewall Day.
Long time KXCI volunteer Mark Rosenbaum will host a special edition of "Jazz Sundae" from noon to 2pm. "Simple Folk" will feature the best of LGBTQ artists from 2pm-3pm. Our regular Sunday public affairs programs "30 Minutes with Amanda Shauger," "A View From Slightly Off Center with David Yerkey," the nationally syndicated "This Way Out" block, and "Broad Perspectives Radio with Susie B." will devote their shows to current and historic LGBTQ issues and guests.
