Walk for Karin

Calling all Supporters!

Dear Karin 2009 Supporters:

Well, it has been a pivotal week for the City of Tucson. Because Karin took a stand for new management to offer steady progress forward for our community, a lot has changed since we last wrote you.

A primary opponent has been recruited to run against Karin this September. Bennett Bernal, a former employee of Kathleen Dunbar when she was Ward 3’s Councilwoman, has announced he is taking on Karin in the Democratic Primary. (See Jim Nintzel’s story here for more on Bernal.)

We consider him a tough opponent. But we are ready. And we continue to get our message out.

Please join us for our next two Saturday Walks with Karin.

We’re going door-to-door throughout the ward to talk with Democrats about this election and get signatures on Karin’s nominating petitions. We want you there!

Neighborhood Walks!!

Saturday April 18th, 9:00 am

Saturday April 25th, 9:00 am

Meet at 2300 E. Edison Street
(one block south of Grant, 2 blocks west of Tucson Blvd)

We’ll provide you with lists, talking points, water… even stickers! You just show up, have a bagel, and hit the neighborhoods! We’ll feed you lunch afterward, too.

So join us!
