TUCSON (Observer Update) - Ernesto Portillo, Jr. will return to be Master of Ceremonies for the LGBT-Straight Alliance Fund’s annual “Evening with Music and Friends”.
The event is at the wonderful home of Michael Myers and Chas Baumgardner from 6-8:30 p.m. on May 1, 2009. The evening is devoted to enjoyment and features music from the Arizona Jazz Academy Ellington Band, a return engagement from competition-winning guitarist Alvaro Mendizabal, elegant hors d’oeuvres by Gallery of Food, and good drinks. This is a fundraiser for the many grants given by the Alliance Fund each year.
