PHOENIX (Observer Update) - The National LGBT Tobacco Control Network is pleased to announce the seventh Annual LGBT Tobacco Summit. This conference/training will engage, educate, and energize LGBTQ communities and allies in the fight against commercial tobacco abuse. For more information see: http://www.lgbttobacco.org/summit.php
The Summit Planning Committee invites abstract submissions that address specific issues, approaches, or strategies that contribute to tobacco work in LGBTQ communities with particular emphasis on the areas of interest attached. Submissions on other relevant topics, however, are welcomed. Abstracts will be accepted for breakout sessions, workshops, and poster presentations. When submitting abstract, please indicate your preference for presentation method. Abstracts from community organizations, youth, and academic researchers are all encouraged.
Abstracts must be submitted by April 3, 2009, to Joseph Lee, Tobacco Prevention and Evaluation Program, UNC School of Medicine at jose.lee@unc.edu.
