Tucson’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Chamber of Commerce’s (TGLBTCC) November breakfast meeting will take place Thursday, November 20, 7:30 a.m., at the Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress will deal with “networking.” Join the Tucson GLBT Chamber of Commerce for this meeting, which the cost for members is $15, $20 for guests and walk-ins. Live music and performances on the University of Arizona mall, starting Wednesday, November 12, noon, to celebrate transgender students and our allies. Kick-off the week right by coming and jamming to some of Tucson's best Queer musicians and artists. Tabling from Tucson and campus resources for LGBTQ identifying students will also be present, for your enjoyment! Wingspan, Center for Student Involvement and Leadership and the University of Arizona Office of LGBTQ Affairs are sponsoring the week. Wingspan’s Reel Pride wants everyone to meet legendary actor, icon and All-American movie heartthrob Tab Hunter, Saturday, November 8, 7:00 p.m. at The Loft, 3233 E. Speedway. Come join Tab Hunter in person for an entertaining evening you won't soon forget, featuring a clip show highlighting his prolific, decades-spanning film career (which includes such cinematic gems as Damn Yankees, Ride the Wild Surf, The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean, John Waters’ Polyester and many others), with live on-stage commentary by Tab and author Eddie Muller (co-writer of Tab’s recent autobiography TAB HUNTER CONFIDENTIAL), and a rare 35 mm theatrical screening of the hilarious 1985 cult classic/western parody LUST IN THE DUST (starring Tab and the one-and-only Divine).
