AGRA Rodeo, January 16-18, 2009

PHOENIX (Observer Update) - The Arizona Gay Rodeo Association (AGRA) is proud to announce the Road Runner Regional Rodeo from January 16-18, 2009.

As a 501(c)4 organization, AGRA hosts this annual rodeo to raise funds to distribute to Arizona LGBT and other charities. This 24th anniversary rodeo will take place Saturday & Sunday, January 17 & 18 at Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass on the Gila River Indian Community, 5700 W North Loop Rd, Chandler, Arizona. Rodeo events begin at 8:00 a.m. both days. During the rodeo, the Rawhide Pavilion will be filled with Western, LGBT-community, and local vendors and sponsors.

Rodeo tickets are $15 each day - with a weekend price of $25 for both days. Weekend tickets purchased in advance through December 20 are just $20. A Western cookout, contestant registration, and dance will take place on Friday, January 16 at Grace Inn Phoenix, 10831 S 51st St, Phoenix, Arizona. Also on Friday, AGRA is hosting a rodeo school at Rawhide from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
