"Turnabout for TIHAN," taking place Sunday, August 24 is an annual show put on by Tucson's LGBT clubs and their bar staff.
The staff request donations from their friends and customers in order to do a "turn-about" from male to female (or vice versa) and put on a show to benefit the work and programs of TIHAN, the Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network.
This year’s show will take place at the Doubletree Hotel at 445 South Alvernon Way. The doors open at 4:30 p.m., and the show starts at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets are only $15.00. Admission includes the show and finger food hors d’oeuvres at 4:30 p.m. The evening also features a raffle with some great prizes. For more information on how you can participate in the fun, contact Scott Blades at (520) 299-6647. Tickets are on sale now through the TIHAN office (credit card orders can be taken), or at participating bars.
