TUCSON (Observer Update) - The July meeting. Sunday, July 20, 2 - 4:00 p.m. at Wingspan, 425 E. 7th, of the Dezert Partnerz group will feature a presentation by Dr. Anne Bradford Stericker, a Tucson therapist who has provided support and counseling to the Transgender community for over twenty years.
Dr. Stericker is the principal mental health specialist dealing with Transgender issues in Tucson. She will be prepared to talk about some common challenges couples face, what helps couples survive the upheaval of a transition, and sexual challenges for couples with a Transgender partner.
Dezert Partnerz is a SAGA support group for people who share their lives with Trans people. It meets every Sunday afternoon from 2 - 4:00 p.m. Meetings are also be open to friends, allies, and parents of Trans people.
