SCR 1042 Update By Mark R. Kerr

Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 1042 is not on Arizona Senate schedule for consideration for today, June 4.

SCR 1042 has to be voted on by the Arizona Senate, since the original intent of the measure was to honor Arizonans who served in the Vietnam War but now wants to use same-sex relationships as a political wedge issue by inserting into the state constitution an amendment to define marriage and to circumvent domestic partnerships and civil unions or any governmental or legal recognition of such relationships.

If one hasn't let their state Senator know what a travesty SCR 1042 is, go online to let them know.
