OUTSpoken Families, Family Equality Council’s storytelling training program for LGBTQ parents and allies, is coming to Tucson, Sunday, June 29, 10 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, Jewish Heritage Center, 3800 East River Road.
OUTSpoken Families provides participants with the skills and know-how to effectively tell their family stories. Our goals for each OUTSpoken participant are to help them build confidence to share their stories and speak out on behalf of their families, to improve their public speaking skills and to encourage their further involvement in the movement for family equality.
This 5-hour training includes lunch and childcare for children 2 to 13 years old. This fun and educational event is being offered at no charge. Advance registration is required. Please contact T. Loving at (520) 624-1779, or click here.
