Arizona Marriage Amendment On November Ballot?

Since the chances of the Arizona Legislature placing a proposed state constitutional amendment on this November general election ballot greately reduced, it may come down to another petition drive for proponents.

If this is the case, a minimum of 230,047 valid signatures of registered Arizona voters would have to be gathered and filed before July 3. To withstand a potential and successful legal challenge, 345,071 signatures would be the goal for proponents to gather in their efforts.
